A brief history of the Autobot named Drift
Once upon a time, there was a Decepticon named Deadlock who was recruited by Megatron, believing he was fighting for a brighter future of Cybertron. Later, he caused some serious casualties that caught the attention of Turmoil. He escaped being executed by the Decepticon, went rogue, and took refuge on a nearby planet where he learned of the Circle of Light from a friend. Later, Deadlock switched sides and began calling himself his old name, Drift. He defeated some alien slavers and officially ditched the Decepticon ranks. He later tried to attack Turmoil again and, after the attack, joined a group led by Kup and joined the Autobots. He would continue to assist the Autobots until they ditched the planet Earth and won the war. Afterwards, he joined Rodimus' crew on the Lost Light in search of a mystical Knights of Cybertron. He was infected once and sliced up some innocent robot. Drift now essentially hangs around Rodimus on his chain of command on the ship.
