Depth Charge had friends on Starbase Rugby but apparently spent little time there.
During Depth Charge's hunt for Protoform X, the villainous Transformer destroyed the base and devoured some of the inhabitants. Rampage (nee X) brought it up during their pair's final battle near the Nemesis, in order to goad Depth Charge into fighting: taunting him that he'd had "no time for Starbase Rugby" and his friends, and they'd been... quite tasty.
