This article is about the Prime Insecticon named Sharpshot. For the Generation 1 Decepticon also called Sharpshot, see Shrapnel (G1).
Sharpshot is a Decepticon Insecticon from the Aligned continuity family.
You know who else likes to stalk on others? MY MOM!

Sharpshot is the leader of the Insecticons. He's extremely arrogant, sadistic, but cowardly whenever things don't go his way. He "really" likes electrocuting things, and seems to gain some sort of pleasure from it akin to a human taking drugs. It's seriously creepy.

Fall of Cybertron

Voice actors: Steve Blum (English)

Sharpshot is the last of the Insecticons that Grimlock encounters when trying to free the rest of the Dinobots. He repeatedly taunts Grimlock after meeting him till he, Slug and Swoop reach Snarl, who is trapped in some sort of torture machine that even Slug can't break him out of. Exactly what the machine does is unclear, only that when Sharpshot activates it, it nearly kills Snarl by what appears to be draining the energon from him. Grimlock, employing his usual strategy when all else fails, breaks every piece of the machine, saving Snarl, and somehow causing some sort of feedback that knocks Sharpshot off the platform that had kept him out of reach of Grimlock. The angry dinobot then approaches the defenseless Insecticon, who makes an in vain attempt to plead for mercy before Grimlock bites him and shakes him around, breaking one of Sharpshot's arms off, and then slamming him into the ground and crushing him.
