Sky Garry (Animated)

Sky Garry is an Autobot from the Transformers Animated continuity family.

Not to be confused with "Ground Lenny".

During the Great War, Sky Garry was Big Bang Prime's extremely loyal second-in-command, treating his commander with utmost respect. Once the war ended, he delved into politics, becoming the head of the Transportation Guild. Sky Garry is also a renowned Cyber-Ninja, having studied under Sensei Yoketron and mastered the Mystery Circle Punch.

Though "Sky Garry" may sound like nonsense, this is not the case: the name is derived from an old Destron dialect and means "aerial carrier".

Notes

• Sky Garry's character model was seen in an image posted on Derrick J. Wyatt's blog on April Fools' Day 2009.
• In case you didn't spot Sky Garry's holo-bust in "Five Servos of Doom", it's second from the left of Yoketron's holo-bust.
• While Sky Garry himself does not appear in "Decepticon Air", his color scheme is randomly applied to an extra Warpath in a crowd shot.
• According to Derrick J. Wyatt, he transforms into some ground vehicle, just like Powerglide, keeping with the "Autobots don't fly" theme.
• Sky Garry's characterization comes from Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II, which of course means that it's full of references to the original Sky Garry. Animated Sky Garry has similar great loyalty to his commander (the original Big Bang would have been Sky Garry's commander if not replaced by Star Convoy), he knows the same Mystery Circle Punch attack, and the nonsensical name of his namesake is lampshaded.
