Warp Cannon

The Warp Cannon is a weapon from the Aligned continuity family.

Warp Cannons are massive Cybertronian weapon emplacements that are used on Cybertron.

Fall of Cybertron

During the Great War, the Decepticons under the command of Megatron attempted to destroy the Autobots in the period when the planet had begun to suffer from Energon shortages. As a result, the Autobots led by Optimus Prime attempted to flee the dying world onboard the Ark which saw the Decepticons stage an all-out offensive against them. In this time, three powerful Warp Cannons were deployed to destroy the Autobot vessel and its defenders. Whilst attempting to defend the starship, Optimus Prime awakened Metroplex who was sent to destroy the Decepticon weapon emplacements. With Metroplex's aid, the first two Warp Cannons were individually destroyed with ease but the third weapon managed to heavily damage Metroplex after it targeted him. Despite being badly damaged, Metroplex managed to survive and destroyed the last Warp Cannon thus ending the immediate Decepticon threat to the Ark. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
