This is Apocrypha

The content of this page is considered to be apocrypha or pseudocanon. Fiction that is considered pseudocanon generally falls into one of two categories. It is most likely either unofficial fiction from an official creator that is so informative as to the creator's thought process and/or so influential to the fandom as to be worth documenting, or fiction that is published in such a way as to render it unofficial, such as fan works published as ancillary or bonus images/fiction with other official work. As such, new ideas and concepts introduced here may not hold true for work that is completely canonical.

Turns out God loves Grimlock!

Synopsis

Grimlock has been reborn in the body of an Aerospace Extermination Squadron clone (a very ugly one) and is ripping his way through the Decepticon High Command Aerie! This isn't just a happy accident: unknown to everyone, Grimlock's lineage dates back to the original Transformers themselves, and his spark has been preserved by Primus as a substitute champion now the Primes are gone!

At the core of the planet, Megatron is beating up Blaster and with locking clamps on, the other Autobots can't intervene. Grimlock arrives just in time to save the day: with Megatron distracted by the fun of having a new person to beat up, Blaster is able to override the locking clamps and frees the other Autobots.

Back at the Autobot lab, Perceptor plots to use his mind to deliver a neural spike and crash the Extermination Squadron's shared neural network: killing the whole lot of them!

Meanwhile, on Quintessa, Flash has been discovered by the Quintessons. Using his vehicle mode's turbine engine, he manages to vault over the Sharkticon hordes Knieval-style and makes a break for it. On Cybertron, Flash's fellow Turbomasters are working hard to locate their friend with the Dimensional Interface Assembly but they instead find their initial target—a battered Optimus Prime!

Notes

  • A victim of Dreamwave's bankruptcy and dissolution, this issue was never released. The story was a mystery until 2011, when Simon Furman finally sold copies of the script at at various conventions.
  • The Age of Wrath is the time when the Thirteen went to war with Unicron.
  • The Fallen wanted Grimlock's 'unique' spark in the last miniseries; being a descendant of one of the Thirteen would make Grimmy pretty unique.
