Chaos is a large alien monster, native to the planet Dredd. Its skin is composed of an unbelievably destructive mineral known as Death Crystals. Apparently Death Crystals are the only thing that can hurt him.
In his younger day's, the Autobot Kup encountered the beast, and was promptly scared off the planet by it (this being the only war-story that Kup doesn't like to recount). Eventually, Kupp returns to Dredd and seemingly kills Chaos with a cannon loaded with Death Crystals.
