Symkaria was being bombed by Decepticon jets. They were also under the influence of the Decepticons' hostility-inducing machine. They blamed the bombing on the neighboring country of Latveria and gave them a 24-hour deadline before they counter-attacked. Silver Sable and the Symkarian army were on stand-by and were monitored by both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Autobots.
