As the Dinobots approached one of Shockwave's bases in the Rust Sea, Backbite burst out of the ground underneath them and attacked. Though Backbite was violently subdued, he nevertheless was able to escape with Swoop as his captive. As he returned to base, Backbite reported to Ser-Ket about his success.
