Iro (アイロ Airo) is the Arms Micron partner of Ironhide.

Iro only appears in the Arms Micron Theater segments of the Japanese broadcast of Prime.

A clear red version of Iro, dubbed Iro R, was part of a five-piece gift set of Autobot-allied Arms Microns, which also included O.P. R, B.2 R, R.A. O and Ooje G. All five can combine to form the Advanced Star Saber.
Early solicitation photos and final packaging depict this version of Iro as opaque burgundy.

Notes

  • Iro is another name with an odder-and-wackier-than-usual origin. In Japanese, "Ironhide" is spelled アイアンハイド (Aianhaido), like how the English would pronounce it. The "-ro" bit seems to be purely based on the English spelling of iron itself and not the sound, which isn't how Japanese transliteration usually works....
