Grimlock and his team assault Shockwave's tower in search of Swoop.

Synopsis

Crossing the Rust Sea, Grimlock and the Lightning Strike Coalition Force reach the Decepticon tower where Swoop was captured and blast their way inside with all the excessive force that is their trademark. Once inside, they're surprised to be set upon by a swarm of Insecticons, but push on until they find Swoop strapped into a machine. As the others rescue their teammate, Grimlock begins feeling uneasy and prepares to retreat and report their findings to Optimus Prime. Before they can do so, Shockwave appears and tells them that it was all part of his plan that them, the "perfect test subjects", would come to him alone and without anyone else knowing of their mission. As the Lightning Strike Coalition falls in the face of Shockwave's Insecticon hordes, Grimlock reflects that occasionally being cautious like Optimus Prime may be a good idea.

Quotes

"We wait for nightfall, Slug. Under the cover of darkness we slip past their defenses. We don't make a sound. We don't alert a single Decepticon. We get in, we rescue Swoop, and we slip out—unnoticed."
"Seriously?"
"No, not seriously. Seriously, we do what we do best. Blast 'em all—don't leave a Decepticon standing!"
