Robert Forster (born July 13, 1941) is an American actor. After an acclaimed performance in 1969's Medium Cool, Forster spent the next several decades headlining mostly b-movies like Alligator and Delta Force (with the exception of Disney's big-budgeted The Black Hole). He revived his career with a role in 1997's Jackie Brown, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Forster has more recently appeared in The Descendants, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and played Arthur Petrelli on Heroes.
