Transformers GT (トランスフォーマーGT), or sometimes Transformers GT: Mission GT-R, is a 2013 TakaraTomy toyline created in collaboration with the Super GT racing championship series. All toys in the series are heavy retools of the Alternity Convoy mold, transforming into 1:32 scale Nissan GT-R racing cars representing real-life cars participating in Super GT. While they all have the same basic mold, each toy features a unique head, weapon and "race queen" figure, a small posable human figure in scale with the car mode.
Toys
- GT-01 GT-R Prime (Nismo / Motul Autech GT-R) with Misaki.
- GT-02 GT-R Saber (Team Impul / Calsonic Impul GT-R) with Anna.
- GT-03 GT-R Megatron (MOLA / S Road REITO MOLA GT-R) with Noa.
- GT-04 GT-R Maximus (Kondo Racing / D'station Advan GT-R) with ??.
Notes
- If preordered via Toy Hobby Market before March 31 2013, the Prime and Saber toys came with exclusive calendars featuring art of the respective robots and race queens.
- GT-R Maximus was originally slated to be GT-03, but was pushed back to GT-04 with Megatron becoming GT-03. This may have had to do with the fact his original promotional art featured the same head as Prime rather than the newly tooled head the figure comes with.
