Dragoyell

Dragoyell is a Maximal and Autobot Mini-Con from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

She cried, "MORE MORE MORE!"

Dragoyell (ドラゴエール Doragoēru) is almost never seen on the front lines. He much prefers to sit back and observe battles from afar; his eyes can clearly zoom in on objects over 3km away. This "commando ninja" uses his mirror-like wings to confuse his enemies both while on recon missions and in battle, striking with his "Dolven Tail" whip while they're disoriented.

A redeco of the Classics Mini-Con Nightscream, Dragoyell transforms into robotic dragon. He was a prize in a "lucky draw" from the September 2007 issue of TV Magazine (aka "TeleMaga") in Japan, not a simple mail-away offer as is commonly believed. Though the magazine claimed that there were 2000 made, this was either a misprint or plans changed after publication, as it is estimated that the number of winners is not even a tenth of that number. As such, Dragoyell has become one of the priciest and hardest-to-find Mini-Cons on the secondary market.

This mold was also used to make Universe Brimstone.

Notes

• Dragoyell's instructions pretty unambiguously state he's a Maximal. However, his toy still bears the Autobot faction symbol. Hm.
• Despite the bio's notation of "mirror wings", the toy's wings do not appear very mirror-like at all.
