- Goryu is a Decepticon from the Victory portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Goryu (ゴウリュウ Gōryū) is the leader of the Dinoforce Decepticons. He typically wields a large spiked club, and unlike the rest of his team, is most often seen riding on the back of his Tyrannosaurus rex Pretender shell, rather than controlling it from the inside or fighting alongside it. He and his troops combine to form the goliath Dinoking.
Hot-headed, easily frustrated and generally not too bright, Goryu demands obedience from his dim-witted troops (especially Kakuryu, whom he often abuses) and respect from the Breastforce... respect which he will never get.

He comes with a rubbery, cyborg Tyrannosaurus rex Pretender-type shell in which he can be stored. The back of the shell can also store his rifle and the Dinoking footplate. Goryu can also transform into either leg to Dinoforce's combined Dinoking mode, but his nominal placement is as the giant's left leg.
