The crook is a human from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Anything less than the best is a felony: Exhibit A.

The crook is a human criminal who carries out dastardly acts like robbing vaults. For example, the vault at Bots & Robbers Police Headquarters.

Sometimes Chase's job isn't that hard.

We were going to make a "Spies Vs Sabs" joke here, and then we realized not even we remember that.
  • Bots & Robbers Police Headquarters (2012)
    • Accessories: Chase the Police-Bot, crook
The Bots & Robbers Police Headquarters is a smaller Rescue Bots playset, similar to the earlier Bumblebee Rescue Garage. It has action features like a vault, a trap door, electronic lights and sounds, and a jail cell - in roughly the order the included crook figure is likely to encounter them. The set also includes an RPM-style toy of Chase: a police car with a spot for a human figure to ride in (including the crook, adding carjacking to his list of crimes) and a robot mode in relief on the underside.
