- Ark-27 is an Autobot starship from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Ark-27 is one of a fleet of numbered Autobot ships designated Ark, all named after the first legendary lost Ark. It is identical in outward appearance to Ark-32.

A crew assembled aboard Ark-27 to transport Optimus Prime to Cybertron when a reprisal of Thunderwing's apocalyptic madness was feared. Stormbringer #1
After the danger was resolved, it took Optimus Prime to Earth to join the Infiltration unit there. Stormbringer #4
The ship's crew worked to recover Omega Supreme after his battle with Monstructor, though the ship itself was not seen. Spotlight: Optimus Prime
Ahter the Chaos event, Hardhead, Wheelie, and Garnak left Cybertron with the Ark-27 to keep Jhiaxus away from Cybertron. Picking up a strange signal from the Ardurian System, they called Optimus Prime, now calling himself Orion Pax, to join them and investigate Arduria. There, Bludgeon attacked the ship and rescued Jhiaxus. Syndromica (1) The crew used the Ark-27 to follow Bludgeon's ship to the Lenocinium Velnero System, where it was briefly caught in some time warps caused by LV-117. Syndromica (2) They continued to chase Bludgeon and Jhiaxus to Gorlam Prime, where the parked Ark-27 ended up being destroyed by Monstructor's mighty foot. Fortunately Orion Pax had expected this outcome and his crew were able to escape using the Skyroller, which had been piggybacking on the Ark-27 all along. Homecoming
