- A personality destabilizer device is a piece of technology from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

When installed in an Autobot recharging chamber, the personality destabilizer device instills evil into any Transformer which uses it, causing their optics to turn red. It also compels them to start doing things. Evil, evil things.
