The Wreckers are a special Autobot task force first assembled at the height of the Great War. After the war, they were recomissioned as a special force answerable only to the Maximal High Council.
The Wreckers are still by tradition considered an Autobot force, despite being on Maximal-era Cybertron, and accepting even Decepticons and Predacons into their ranks following the takeover of Cybertorn by Megatron and his Vehicon armies.
Although the member list has varied between the various continuities, certain Transformers are almost consistently listed as members. These include Springer, Ultra Magnus, Topspin, Twin Twist, and more.
