Smokescreen is an <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Autobot" title="Autobot">Autobot</a> from the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cybertron_%28franchise%29" title="Cybertron (franchise)">Cybertron</a> portion of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Unicron_Trilogy" title="Unicron Trilogy">Unicron Trilogy</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Continuity_family" title="Continuity family">continuity family</a>.

For the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Decepticon" title="Decepticon">Decepticons</a>, however, he has a plethora of mean practical jokes that range from simply annoying to lethal. Many Decepticons have found themselves trapped in unexpected traffic, then ambushed by the Autobots, all thanks to Smokescreen's chicanery.

Part of the final wave of Cybertron deluxes, Smokescreen is a <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Redeco" title="Redeco">redeco</a> of the Cybertron Autobot <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Crosswise_%28Cybertron%29" title="Crosswise (Cybertron)">Crosswise</a>,

transforming into a Bugatti Veyron sports car (a very, very expensive limited-production, built-to-order series of cars). Plugging a <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cyber_Planet_Key" title="Cyber Planet Key">Cyber Planet Key</a> into the back end of his bumper flips up a pair of non-firing rocket launchers, a feature also usable in robot mode. His rear spoiler also contains a spring-loaded missile launcher which becomes a hand-held weapon in robot mode. The rear side-panels can flip around to the front to form non-firing hip-mounted guns as well.

Smokescreen comes with a silver-bordered <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Earth" title="Earth">Earth</a>-style Cyber Planet Key, with the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cyber_Key_Codes" title="Cyber Key Codes">Cyber Key Code</a> "d4v6" <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Tampograph" title="Tampograph">tampographed</a> on the back.

• The original Hasbro stock photos and test shots of Smokescreen

gave him colorless clear plastic windows and flame-missile. In the final version, they have a blue tint.
