- Arachnicons are Transformers from the Aligned continuity family.
Arachnicons are a type of Transformer with what humans would refer to as "spider-like" features. They apparently have a tendency toward multiple limbs and the ability to spin mesh steel webbing.

It was for some reason catagorized as surprising that Dr. Cogwheel was an Arachnicon. Transformers: The Covenant of Primus
Notes
- The description of Dr. Cogwheel in the Covenant makes it seem very likely that Airachnid is a member of the sub-type as well.
- Airachnid seems to possess the unexplained ability to control/dominate Insecticons. Whether or not this is a natural Arachnicon ability is unknown.
