Skysleds are a type of Autobot aircraft used during the early parts of their war with the Decepticons, primarily for evacuation.
Fiction
[edit]Dreamwave Generation One continuity
[edit]Skysleds were used to evacuate Altihex as the Orbital Torus State was overrun by Decepticon forces. One skysled was delayed, as a small group of Neutrals was refusing to pack up and leave on the grounds that they weren't part of the war. The problem was "solved" when Thundercracker and Skywarp blew up the neutral building. Trailbreaker dragged Bumblebee on board the skysled, stating that the city was lost. The skysled was finally able to depart. The War Within #1
