Bud Hansen

Bud Hansen is a human in the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Bud Hansen, Coby's younger brother, is just a kid. His imagination often takes over, and outstrips his common sense, especially when his Autobot friends allow him more latitude than he can really handle. As often happens, many Transformers have a hard time dealing with these thinking creatures whose minds develop in stages, though the Mini-Cons do this most readily.

Despite his years, however, Bud is able to be surprisingly mature and even somewhat wise when he has to be. This doesn't keep him from getting himself and the more foolish of his robot friends into some rather bad situations. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the Transformers don't seem to know enough about human development to apply the necessary butt-whuppins' to prevent these minor disasters.

With his brother and their friend Lori, Bud assisted the Autobots during their search for the Cyber Planet Keys. Perhaps his greatest feat during this adventure was surviving it all.
