IDW Generation 1 continuity

In an attempt to discredit Skywatch, destroy the Dynobots, and gain lucrative military contracts, Machination leader Scorponok had Grimlock teleported from the Franz Josef Glacier to Fallon, Nevada. In response to this Transformer presence, Skywatch sent out their reprogrammed Dynobots to deal with Grimlock. Maximum Dinobots #1 The ensuing battle devastated the city, but the Dynobots were eventually brought back to their senses when a virus placed by the Machination allowed them to do so. The Machination's Sunstreaker clones were then sent in to exterminate the Dynobots. Maximum Dinobots #2 With the newly-arrived Monsterbots, the Dynobots were able to defeat the wave of clones sent to Fallon. Maximum Dinobots #3
