The Transformers cartoon

During a battle in a Middle Eastern country in which Slingshot became trapped in a cave, the Aerialbot's weapons console was damaged. Ratchet was unable to replace it on the spot, and as Slingshot wasn't keen on flying, Ratchet said he'd send a new one from headquarters for the mechanics at the airbase to install. Before that could happen, Slingshot and Skydive were caught up with a Decepticon plan involving plane trafficking. As Slingshot was unable to use his weapons without his console, Hassan, a young boy they had befriended, sneaked on board the Decepticons' mobile fortress and stole a weapons console from it. Once he installed the component into Slingshot, the Aerialbot was able to blast them both free of the fortress using his handheld weapon. Aerial Assault
