- The Insectrons are a Maximal subgroup from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Insectrons are a horde of robot insects who fled Cybertron to escape the many endless wars. They found refuge on Gaea, and were at peace for a time, until Galvatron and his Predacons arrived. They now reluctantly side with Lio Convoy and the Maximals against their common foe.
The Insectrons consist of:
- Bigmos (leader)
- Drill Nuts
- Mantis
- Powerhug
- Scissorboy
- Tonbot
