- Part of the fourth wave of Kreon Micro-Changer combiner sets, Grimstone comes as a set of four component Kreons: Mollox, Crackback, Ironeye, and Iquanox. The Kreons can be built into their robot modes or their beast modes, or they can be built into Grimstone by taking them apart and combining their pieces. Like his wave mates, Grimstone is an entirely new-character, rather than being a recreation of a classic combiner.
- Mollox's beast mode cannot be securely build as instructed because the head crest is obstructed by the pieces on its back. The stock CG render shows the tip of the crest clipping though the plate on its back.
