SpiderBots are one of Cybertron's many examples of fauna. More of a pest than anything, these small, three-legged scavengers have no defenses to speak of, and are so fragile they practically explode when touched. Needless to say, neither the Autobots nor the Decepticons consider them a threat, and will usually ignore them. They're known to bunch up when alarmed. They can also walk on ceilings.
Games
War for Cybertron
The Aerialbots sighted a number of SpiderBots as they moved through Trypticon's interior. War for Cybertron
Fall of Cybertron
They were common in the Sea of Rust, and Cliffjumper and Jazz encountered them occasionally while infiltrating Shockwave's base. Fall of Cybertron
Notes
- Unnamed in the games, the term "SpiderBot" comes from the filename for the image of the critters on prop designer Donald Ott's blog.[1]
