Revision as of 00:38, 23 August 2014
- O.P. is a Mini-Con from the Aligned continuity family.

O.P. (オーピー Ōpī) is Optimus Prime's Arms Micron. He likes to think he has a lot of good ideas, but, well... let's just say he's got a lot of work ahead of him before he can be true leader material.
Fiction
Prime cartoon
- Voice actor: Toshiyuki Morikawa (Japanese)
O.P., B.2, and R.A. tried to transform. Perfect Transformation! Enter the Transformers B.2 and R.A. succeeded at transforming into robot mode, but O.P. still struggled. Dark Transformation! Dark Energon While he finally succeeded, he felt down because the viewers didn't get to see him do it. In order to prove his worth, he instead combined with B.2 and R.A. to form the Star Saber. Rescue Transformation! Fowler in Crisis Optimus Prime's actions during his run-in with MECH were hard on O.P., who was still shaking some time afterwards. He wondered if there wasn't anything else the Microns could do to help the Autobots, but dismissed B.2's suggestion that they drive their partners in vehicle mode. Reckless Transformation! Protect the Dingus! Upon reaching the 10-episode milestone, the Arms Microns had a party to celebrate. O.P. wanted to hold a speech to thank everyone involved, and even tried to extend the show's air time to an hour when B.H. told him there wasn't enough time. It didn't work. All-Out Assault Transformation! The Pair of Assassins
O.P. was relaxing and enjoying an energon drink when Zamu and Gra popped into the studio. O.P. really didn't take their appearance well, ranting loudly and slowly turning black as if infected by Dark Energon. Arc wondered aloud just what was in his drink. Acceleration Transformation! Speed Match!
Toys
Prime

- Optimus Prime (Voyager, 3-31-2012)
- Set ID number: AM-01
- Micron ID number: M-01
- Energon crystal: AP Pure
- Available only with AM-01 Optimus Prime, O.P. transforms from a humanoid robot into a weapon combining Optimus's cannon and blade weapons (which were omitted from the Japanese release). He has numerous 5mm posts and holes that allow him to combine with other Arms Microns to form any number of "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons", though he is specifically called out as forming the lower-blade/guard portion of the Star Saber with B.2 and R.A. He also has a clear-plastic gem that is part of an as-of-yet-explained game system.
- O.P. comes out of the package as a bunch of unpainted parts on runners, like a model kit. His extra deco is provided by customer-applied foil stickers on a sheet he shares with Optimus.

- Shining O.P. (Promotional Micron, 6-30 2012)
- Energon crystal: AP Pure
- A clear-blue version of O.P. was given away to contestants in the "Arms Up Challenge" at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair Summer '12. The first challenge, limited to junior high students and younger, was simply a speed-trial assembly of Shining B.2. The second "Expert Department" challenge was a customization contest, where applicants of all ages could bring in their customized Transformers Prime toys. The larger sticker sheet normally associated with O.P. was omitted, with only a faction sticker for the toy's energon crystal provided.

- Battle Shield Optimus (Multi-pack, 8-12 2012)
- Energon crystal: AP Pure
- A gray version of O.P., dubbed O.P. A, was made available in the Japanese ToysЯUs exclusive Battle Shield Optimus multi-pack. The set also included a redeco of AM-01 Optimus Prime, gold versions of the three Cosmotector Microns (Pral G, Sais G, and Jayz G), the sword from the Hasbro release of Optimus Prime, and (if purchased during the summer 2012 promotional period) a cardboard trailer unit that could serve as a Micron mounting base and carry a single Deluxe Class car.
- We don't know what the "A" stands for, but a likely candidate is "achromatic", another term for "grey". In case you're wondering, both "G" and "GR" as letter codes had already been taken by Balo G(old) and C.L. GR(een).
- Golden Optimus Prime (Voyager, November 2012)
- Energon crystal: AP Pure (probably)
- A gold version of O.P. was included with Golden Optimus Prime, limited to 20 pieces. The set was first prize prize in the Japanese "Arms Up Campaign", and mailed out at some point in November.

- Pure Energon O.P. (Promotional Micron, 12-15-2012)
- Energon Crystal: AP Pure
- This clear version of O.P., in a lighter shade of blue matching his Pure Energon Crystal, was available at Japanese ToysЯUs stores with the purchase of 3000 yen of Transformers product. He is meant to match Pure Energon B.2, Shining R.A, and the Matrix Saber to form the Pure Energon Super Star Saber.
- Arms Micron Ultimate 5 Piece Set A - Advanced Star Saber (AMW set, 12-28-12)
- Set ID number: AMW-13
- Energon Crystal: AP Pure
- A red version of O.P., dubbed O.P. R, was part of a five-piece gift set of Autobot-allied Arms Microns, which also included B.2 R, Iro R, R.A. O, and Wuji G. All five can combine to form the Advanced Star Saber.

- Optimus Prime + Gaia Unicron (2013)
- Energon crystal: AP Pure
- This Asian-exclusive redeco of "O.P" comes pre-assembled, lacks stickers, and features paint operations. He and Optimus Prime come in a multi-pack with Gaia Unicron (with Bogu).
Notes
- In Arms Micron Theater, O.P. often announces "I have a good idea!" (私にいい考えがある!) before attempting to solve a problem. This line is something of a catchphrase of Generation 1 Optimus Prime in the Japanese dub of the original cartoon.
