Fiction
Wings Universe
Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.
As part of a plot to draw the Wreckers to them, Squadron X invaded Torax Prime. However, unbeknownst to the Squadron, the Great War had ended and so the Wreckers never responded.
The time spent waiting drove the members of Squadron X insane, and eventually only Ferak and Tornado were left. Cobbling together parts, they made a spaceship and left the planet behind. Tornado's Personal Journal
