Checkerroad uses the power of the stars to boost his energy levels. He hates that Moonjet, and will follow him anywhere in the hopes of shooting him down.

- Checkerroad vs. Moonjet (Versus pack, 1992)
- Japanese ID number: TF-08
- Checkerroad’s toy is identical to the Turbomaster Hurricane, transforming into a “Le Mans”-style racer. His engine in vehicle mode is a spring-loaded missile-launching cannon usable in both vehicle and robot modes. He was sold in Japan only as part of a two-pack with Moonjet.
