Boil Coils are technology from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Boil Coils were developed by Doc Greene to rapidly heat water. They also work rather well to heat up Rescue Bots. They can be operated by remote control.

Attempting to trap the Power Planter which was attracted to heat, the rescue team borrowed some Boil Coils and installed them in the Rescue Bots. When the planter turned up, they lured it into driving off the side of a cliff using the Boil Coils as a lure. Movers and Shakers
