The Creation Matrix is the lengendary program which creates new Transformer life.
When an Autobot Leader possesses the Matrix of Leadership, safeguarding the Creation Matrix is one of the chief responsibilities.
In many continuities, the Creation Matrix is the very living essence of Primus, and the only thing which can destroy Unicron.
In addition to being a symbol of Autobot leadership, and the means of defeating the Chaos Bringer, the Creation matrix (true to it's name) has the ability to revive those near death and even create new Transformer life.
