He is currently affiliated with Aoni Production and is best known for playing both the Narrator and Professor Oak on Pokémon. He is also known for voicing Jet Black on Cowboy Bebop, Gozaburo Kaiba on Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sergei Smirnov on Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mr. Satan/Hercule on Dragon Ball Z Kai (taking on the role from the late Daisuke Gōri), Heihachi Mishima in the Tekken series (as inherited from Gōri), Zabuza Momochi on Naurto, Eugene Gallardo on Tales of Rebirth, Joesph Joestar in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
