Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Metroplex became stranded on Hydrophena after he was attacked by Ammonites and infected with Ore-2. The Becoming Upon being informed of Metroplex's situation by Thunderclash, Caminus, one of the colony worlds formed by the ancient Metrotitans, sent the cityspeaker Windblade, her bodyguard Chromia and the quantum engineer Nautica to the planet to aid the injured titan. Searching for Metroplex, the Lost Light quantum jumped into the blood red ocean of the planet and was immediately surrounded by the Ammonites that had attacked Metroplex. Winners & Losers While the crew of the starship attempted to reason with the small lifeforms but instead had to fend for their lives as the Ammonites attacked. Launching the Rodpod, the crew tried to defend the fuel quills of the ship before retreating into Metroplex himself. Into the Abyss
Metroplex would later leave the planet through the use of a jumpstarting procedure that utilized the Lost Light's quantum engines. Burning Bright
