"Loosely-aligned with the Autobots" is right, with a huge emphasis on "loosely." All three of them are seen consistently on the side of the the Decepticons in Revelations, Part 5. And considering all of the identifiable Mini-Cons shown are from the Cybertron two-packs, I don't think it's a coloring mistake, since they're the only versions of that mold in that range. Given we also see omnicons I'd assume this leans towards "bad choice of crowd fillers". Someone could always ask the folks involved...
