Major Gordon was on duty when an incoming UFO was picked up on radar. Major Gordon put the base on red alert, but the UFO arrived much faster than expected. The U.F.O. was actually the Decepticon Starscream. Starscream was able to destroy many aircraft on the ground, but several fighter jets were able to engage him in the skies, but they were no match for the Decepticon.
In the end, Major Gordon's forces were helpless in stopping Starscream. He was only driven off when Megatron and the other Decepticons arrived and chased him off, trying to capture him for his treachery. The Enemy Within!
