Hork-Bajirs are aliens from the Animorphs continuity.

The Hork-Bajir are large, bipedal, organic alien beings. Visser Three possesses a Hork-Bajir morph, which he describes as "a monster the likes of has never before been seen on Earth!" Standing over seven feet tall, with razor-sharp blades at the ankles, wrists, knees and elbows, in addition to a stegosaurus-like tail, these great beasts are definitely intimidating in appearance. The reality is that the Hork-Bajir are actually a primitive race of pacifist herbivores with low-intelligence, who just use their blades to harvest and eat tree bark from the massive trees on their home-world. The Yeerks conquered and enslaved the Hork-Bajir race, and it was Visser Three himself who had infested the first Hork-Bajir and declared that the creature's bodies will be used as shocktroops for the Yeerk Empire.

Toys

Animorphs

  • Visser Three (Ultra, 1999)
Visser Three's possesses three modes: his standard Andalite form, along with his Inferno Creature morph and his Hork-Bajir morph. He is capable of firing a missile from each hand in his Hork-Bajir form.

Notes

  • In a strange choice of deco, the Hork Bajir toy is colored mostly in black, red and yellow. Considering the illustration on Visser Three's packaging shows his Hork-Bajir morph as being green, and we can assume this is the intended coloring and not a mistake (as seen in stock photography of the toy, which has green paint applied to it), the choice of black and yellow on the toy seems very odd (red makes sense since the Inferno beast was depicted as red in the previous Visser Three toy). Considering Andalites are usually depicted as being blue or red, and Visser Three's other morph (the Inferno Creature) is only shown as being red, it seems that Hork-Bajirs come in at least two color variations: green and black/yellow.
