Discovery Family is a cable television network in the United States owned by a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro. It began broadcasting October 13, 2014, as the successor to Hub Network.
Discovery Family will continue to be the American outlet for Transformers: Rescue Bots and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, carrying over from Hub Network. These and other Hasbro and third-party cartoons will only air in the daytime hours, as the nighttime line-up features only live-action documentary and reality programming from the Discovery Communications library.
