Ballobots are sentient sports equipment from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
You can't see me!

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

Ballobots are used in the Cybertronian sport of basketrek. They really enjoy bouncing — the higher the better.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

After dropping Donny Finkleberg out of the air, Jetfire swooped down to catch him, noting that he'd forgotten humans didn't bounce as well as ballobots did. Aerialbots over America!

Notes

  • The alignment of ballobots is not known. Perhaps they are found to frequently shift their allegiances, as Earthly golf balls and other sports equipment are often accused of doing. Ideally, however, they should certainly remain neutral in the interests of fair play.
Balls
  • A small, bouncing grey sphere was amongst the escapee robots in "Chaos". Any connection to the ballobots is unconfirmed.
