He usually plays gruff older men, such as Rihaku in the Fist of the North Star: The Legends of the True Savior films or Hōjō Teppei in Higurashi - When They Cry, and among many other roles such as Gekko Moriah in One Piece, Ben Jackson in Tiger & Bunny, Ishihara in Burst Angel, Orba Mayer & the Narrator of The Devil is a Part-Timer and Raizou Tatsumi in Mai no Mahō to Katei no Hi.
