Stuart Moore is an American comic book writer and editor. He started out editing on Swamp Thing, Doctor Fate and Hellblazer for D.C. Comics, and also got to edit Transmetropolitan and Cruel and Unusual for their Vertigo imprint. In the early 2000s, he was lured over to Marvel Comics by Joe Quesada to edit on the likes of Daredevil, Ghost Rider, The Punisher and Howard the Duck. Meanwhile Moore was beginning to pursue a career in comic writing with Zendra at Penny-Farthing Press, and after a couple of years at Marvel, opted to move to writing comics on a freelance basis. He thus has written for most of the big comic companies and many of the small ones. Among his body of work are runs on Firestorm, Stargate: Atlantis, Wolverine Noir, and JLA/The 99.
