Invisibility spray is a stealth technique from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"Perfect! Now we can go apply for that coloring book gig!"

What could be better than an invisibility spray? Simply apply liberally to one's exterior armor, and become completely invisible.

Except for a glowing outline.

Under cover of battle, Megatron and Starscream coated themselves with the invisibility spray, and stealthily entered Autobot Headquarters so that they could fit an personality destabilizer device into the Autobots' recharging chambers. They were able to go completely undetected long enough to complete their mission and depart.
