Mark Weber is a Manager of Global Brand Development on the Transformers franchise at Hasbro. He is chiefly responsible for the Generations and Construct-Bots segments, as well as most exclusive products.

Convention appearances

Notes

  • Mark graduated with a degree in Broadcasting from Arizona State University and spent eight years as a sports radio producer/anchor.
  • Prior to joining Hasbro in February 2012, Mark worked at McFarlane Toys for ten years, overseeing the McFarlane’s Sports Picks brand of action figures while consulting on HALO, The Walking Dead, Spawn, McFarlane’s Dragons, and more.
  • He attended his first BotCon in Dallas back in 2012. He missed BotCon in 2013 while recovering from tongue cancer. In 2014, he contributed to the Transformers Experience panel at Universal Studios Hollywood (inducting Arcee and Rodimus into the Transformers Hall of Fame) and led the Hasbro Brand Panel as well.
  • A lifelong Transformers fan, his personal favorite characters are Prowl, Skywarp, and Grimlock.
