- The Prowl drones are Autobot clones from the Wings Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Wings Universe
Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.
Legions of Prowl Drones participated in Jhiaxus’s invasion of Cybertron. A whole bunch of them were blasted by Eagle Eye. Later, Prowl Drone number 3 and 6 were surprised by a group of Decepticons who had managed to slip behind enemy lines. A Common Foe

Prowl's Machine Wars toy was repurposed as Jhiaxus's Prowl cloned drones.
