- Flatworld is a dimension from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Known to the Alternity as Flatworld (フラットワールド Furattowārudo), there exists a two-dimensional universe. This universe's natives, the Planicrons, have reached a level of technological sophistication that has caused them to venture into three-dimensional universes, with often disastrous results.

Unfortunately their incursion disrupted the operation of written language itself in that universe, and attracted the attention of both the Alternity and the Megatron Aggregate, causing a conflict which destroyed the device and denied them entry to that universe. Thus defeated, they were confined to Flatworld once more. The World Is Flat!
