Corvicon

The Corvicons are a Decepticon subgroup from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Corvicons are compulsive thieves and hoarders, utterly single-minded in their pursuit of treasure, though this treasure can be anything from a super-valuable crystalline containment vessel to a discarded foil gum wrapper. The important thing is that it be shiny—the glitterier the better.

The criminal Filch is a Corvicon.

2015 Robots in Disguise cartoon

Filch was released in the wreck of the Autobot prison ship Alchemor and began to collect shiny objects from around the Crown City area to build a nest in a statue, downing power lines, interfering with traffic and generally being a nuisance. Denny Clay also ended up in her clutches, but Sideswipe and the Autobots were able to rescue him and return Filch to stasis. Collect 'Em All

Filch stole the Scavengebot Scuzzard from the Autobots, but when he started eating her base of operations in an amusement park, the two fought, and Bumblebee's Autobot team was able to recapture them both. Bumblebee Versus Scuzzard

Notes

• Corvids are, taxonomically speaking, the crows and their relatives, and Filch transforms into a big robot crow or magpie herself. Nevertheless, it cannot be stated for certain that all Corvicons have bird altmodes.
