A thousand years ago, Windblade was given a mission by Primus himself, receiving upgrades and being placed in stasis. After awakening on [[Earth]], she began the task of hunting down fugitive [[Decepticon]]s who had been released as a result of the crash of the ''[[Alchemor]]''. While capturing [[Razorpaw]], she stumbled on [[Sideswipe (WFC)|Sideswipe]] who introduced him to [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]]'s team. Windblade was again drawn to the [[Vintage Salvage Depot for the Discriminating Nostalgist|scrapyard]] base of Bumblebee's team, to find Strongarm and Sideswipe had been captured.
