- Miranda Jones is a human character in the Unicron Trilogy.
Miranda Jones is the wife of Dr. Brian Jones, and the mother of Chad "Kicker" Jones and Sally Jones. She provides a calm, gentle counterpoint to her husband's eccentricity, to the point where she baked cookies with her daughter while both her husband and son were working to help the Autobots and Terrorcon drones were closing in on their hiding place.

Miranda Jones lived with her two children on Ocean City, while her husband was conducting research on Cybertron. She was often worried about Kicker's brooding, loner nature.
Later, Dr. Jones christened the new joint Autobot-Earth Federation starship he designed as the Miranda II.
