Slaargs are scavengers in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Slaargs are a type of scavenger that survives on scraps. They are considered nonthreatening, and comparison to them is insulting.

It is unclear if Slaargs are native to Cybertron or not, they may be one of the life forms native to Charr.

Cyclonus derisively compares the exiled Decepticons' squabbling over their dwindling energon supply to the behavior of Slaargs.
